TORI BREWER

Tori is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a degree in Speech and Hearing Pathology and a K-12 educational certification.

She showed a penchant for language at a very young age. (Her mother swore she started talking at ten months and never stopped.) In school, she was one of the odd ones who actually enjoyed diagramming sentences and she aced grammar tests. As a result, she is the ideal person to handle the many writing projects required for both the company and its clients. Any documents she composes, proofs or revises will be perfectly formatted and the content precise.

She oversees all of MasterThink’s operational, administrative, and accounting functions as well.

Tori’s heart belongs to her seven grandchildren—their giggles and hugs are her greatest treasure. She enjoys sewing, great books, and time spent with her many friends. She is active at Denton Bible Church where she leads a Bible study group aptly named “The Happy Hares” because of all the rabbit trails they run.

KATE HURLBUT

Kate has been a consultant with MasterThink since 2006. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2001, she spent several years at RBC in construction financing for homebuilders across the county.

Her responsibilities for MasterThink include acting as a key contact for clients, developing marketing materials, SharePoint design and administration, technical support and leading consulting projects. Most recently she has taken over the dashboard development for our clients – utilizing Power BI to design the metrics that monitor, analyze and improve company performance.

Kate brings a keen eye for design and a love of organization into the business. From business plans to PowerPoint presentations, she adds the artistry and flare that make the finished project distinctive. She is both comprehensive and concise and able to streamline processes and procedures for the companies we serve.

Kate’s husband, Mike, is also an Aggie (whoop!). She is active in her church and community, manages to get in a run now and then with her two dogs, does small carpentry projects around the house, and listens to as many audiobooks as she can when ubering her four girls around town.

KEN REISER

Ken Reiser graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Finance. His prestigious training includes the Stagen Leadership Program as well as Business Finance at the Wharton School. He has been part of the Young President’s Organization, the Wisteria Advisory Board of Directors; Bank Texas Advisory Board; Bishop Dunne Advisory Board; and the White Rock YMCA Advisory Board.

During his career, Ken has owned and operated two companies. The first was a commercial floor contracting company that he took over from his father. After growing the business, Ken then sold the company to a large carpet manufacturer. Ken worked for the manufacturer for six years. Ken then left to purchase an 82 year old lighting and electrical company from the grandson of the founder. After growing the business for twelve years, Ken sold the business so he could go to work for his church. Ken was hired by Highland Park United Methodist Church as its executive director. At HPUMC, Ken focused on planting new churches and managing all construction projects, one of them being the construction of a $40,000,000 family activity center. After working at the church for seven years, Ken has turned his attention to sharing his experience with others and helping companies grow and improve their operations.

Ken and his wife, Carrie enjoy spending time with their two new grandkids and gardening at their lake house in east Texas.

MICHELLE SMITH

Michelle graduated from Texas Woman’s University in three and one-half years with a degree in marketing and a minor in business management. After beginning her career at Lincoln Financial Group as lead in marketing for annuities, disabilities and life insurance, she ran her own business for nine years.

She has been with MasterThink since 2013 where she develops reproducible business models, implements leadership coaching, strategic planning, and various other consulting responsibilities.

Her years of competitive gymnastics were the perfect channel for her tenacious personality, schooling her in the disciplines of focus, hard work, and excellence. Michelle is a high achiever who gets things done! As she transitioned from competing into coaching gymnastics, she developed a love for helping others do their best.

Her husband, Chris, is the family chef, which gives her time for her hobbies—digging in the dirt and digging into good books. She is a busy mother to two teenage boys who never fail to keep life interesting.
